Normal folding table in the market – made from MDF or particle board
Magic Folding Table With Caster – made from Blockboard
The process of manufacturing MDF and particle board include gluing and laminating small pieces of wood to stick them together to make a whole wood board, while blockboard is made from the whole piece of natural wood, which doesn’t require as much sticking method as MDF and particle board. During manufacturing process, making MDF and particle board cause more formaldehyde emission than of making Blockboard. Formaldehyde emission caused carcinogenic to human and harmful to the environmental.
In terms of decomposition, because blockboard uses less glue and other synthetic materials, it is easier to decompose naturally while MDF and particle board need to be burnt in order to destroy the wood, which will release carbon monoxide into the atmosphere.
